Listen to the Gorilla! Final project for my first animation class. Great experience and I hope to continue animating! Puppeting is so great to know about and after effects makes it easy once you know what to do. I had some problems with composition and I think he looks very floaty, but I did my best to make him not look like a puppet. Great character to have for the future.

Flip Cycle

Flip Cycle, that I hope no one sees This was a really good learning experience, but happy to never work on it again. I wish I had planned the background first, cause I just tried to fix it after and it looks weird. First puppet attempt so not to terrible but I hope to do better on the next one. Through this I learned about organization and how quick layers get out of hand when animating. I really liked puppeting, once you put the work in you have a character that you can do a lot with.

Vegan Rap

Kinetic Typography ~ first verse of Vegan Rap by Kyle OSullivan This was my first time creating a real video in Adobe After Effects. There are so many options and I felt like I just starting to understand it toward the end of this project. I really like this program and feel like there are so many options but its relatively easy to use. With more practice, I think I could create professional quality works.

Bouncing Ball Romance

Bounce for love This was my first real animation using Adobe Animate. It was satisfying to produce so much time relatively quickly. There are so many tools available in this program. Although, I did find it difficult to make anything look natural, clearly 2D animation and seems very flat.

Frog on an adventure

Frog set free by a tank First attempted at animating weight! Frame by frame made in Adobe Animate, time consuming but enjoyable to draw using the Wacom tablet. I became much more proficient with it because of this project.

Catch the World Animation

Rotoscope Project: Catch the World This was made from a YouTube video reference. I imaging the ending which let me practice spacing. I learned not to use blurry references if you are rotoscoping or doing any tracing technique.

Bouncing Ball

Bouncing Ball: This is my first 2D animation using Adobe Animate CC. I learned the value of planning and the necessity for layers. I never new there was so much you could use in this program. I love being able to sketch and tween. September 2017
